Actor Keanu Reeves, known for his lead role in the John Wick trilogy and the Matrix movies, made an incredibly generous donation, in support of his younger sister Kim.

For eight years, Kim Reeves fought against Leukemia, which when not treated properly can be deadly. In 2009, Keanu Reeves created a foundation to support Leukemia patients in children’s hospitals and research a cure. He is very humble about his donations to the foundation, and when asked about it in an interview with the Ladies Home Journal said “I don’t like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does.” He has also done many charity events in order to raise money for the foundation, including auctioning off a zoom date with himself in 2020.

Recently, Reeves has taken his immense kindness to a whole new level, following the release of his newest movie, The Matrix Resurrection. He has donated 70 percent, roughly 31.5 million dollars towards more cancer research.

His generosity, as well as dedication towards supporting both his sister, and everyone who is going through what she had to experience, is very inspiring and heartwarming.
