At least four people lost their lives today in coordinated bombings across resort cities in Thailand. The attacks threaten to undermine peace and economic development in one of the world’s most beautiful countries. Earlier this year, our family enjoyed the distinct privilege of visiting Thailand, including the Thai resort area of Phuket, which was struck today. At this difficult time, people of good will the world over — our family among them — stand in solidarity with the Thai people. Our hearts and prayers go out especially to the survivors of the blasts and the families of the victims.
